10kg Bokashi


Bokashi is a probiotic that prevents food waste from rotting and rather ferments it.

10kg Bokashi works great for bigger scale fermenting of food waste at restaurants, guest houses, coffee shops etc.

Any fresh food waste can be added including cooked foods, meat, bones, cheese, onions and citrus.
NO rotten or mouldy food in the bin as this will bring bad bacteria, which will make your whole bin rotten.
Add extra Bokashi on smelly food waste like, broccoli, fish, shellfish and raw meats to limit smells.

ONCE a day open your Bokashi bin and sprinkle a handful of Bokashi over every layer of your food scraps.
Keep Bokashi bin airtight at all times.

The valuable microorganisms in the Bokashi will start the fermentation process.
